My Role
Jerrica Long is a creative strategist, digital show runner and industry expert with over a decade of experience shaping stories, brands, and fan bases across entertainment. From early days coordinating production, working on Harry Potter, to roles at DreamWorks Animation, NPR, and Netflix, Jerrica has had a deep understanding of storytelling.
She began at CAA with some of the industry's most influential players, before joining Netflix She played a pivotal role in advancing assistant pay equity during a turning point in the industry and has since been a vocal advocate for fair creative labor.
Jerrica's work spans from Barbie and American Girl to UNO, where she served as a brand creative director. She has written pilots, creative directed and more. These experiences made her committed to making the entertainment industry better for creatives, audiences, and future storytellers.
Today, she is the founder of Studio Jerrica, a next-gen AI animation studio turning unproduced scripts into content and ultimately Greenlight Yourself, as she has named her consulting firm for entertainment companies and creators looking to build and scale loyal audiences without needing Netflix-sized budgets.
What I love most about my role
I love that I can really tune into the brand and build up who they are. I also love empowering others to use AI in order to greenlight that project that they have always wanted to complete
