My Role
I work in enterprise software sales, partnering with organizations to understand their business needs and helping them identify technology solutions that support their goals. Alongside my corporate career, I’m the host and creator of Unspoken Lives Podcast, an award-winning show I launched in 2025 to give ordinary people a platform to share the extraordinary journeys behind their lives. While the two roles look very different, both are rooted in something I genuinely love: building relationships, asking good questions, listening well and connecting people.
What I love most about my role
The people. I’ve always loved building relationships and learning what matters to someone beyond the surface-level conversation. That’s true in my corporate career, and it’s also a huge part of why I created Unspoken Lives. Whether I’m talking with a customer or sitting across from a podcast guest, I love asking questions, listening and finding connections that might otherwise be missed.
How I define success
Success has changed for me over the years. I still love setting goals and working toward something, but I don’t think success is defined by one title, number or accomplishment. For me, it’s being present for my family, continuing to grow in my career, building something I genuinely believe in, and hopefully leaving people a little better than I found them. If I can do all of those things without losing sight of what matters most to me, that feels like success.
The best piece of business advice I ever received was
Relationships matter. Some of the best opportunities in my career and with the podcast have come through genuine relationships, often in ways I never could have planned. I try to approach networking by being curious about people, supporting what they’re building and looking for ways to help without always wondering what I’ll get in return. It’s amazing how often one connection leads to another.
What would I tell my younger self
Stop waiting until you feel completely ready. You’re probably never going to feel 100% qualified for the biggest opportunities that come your way. Ask the question, take the meeting, introduce yourself, try something new and be willing to learn as you go. Starting Unspoken Lives with zero podcasting experience reinforced that for me. Sometimes you have to take the first step before you can see where it’s going to lead.
What 2B Bolder mean to me
To me, being bolder means being willing to use your voice while also making room for other women to use theirs. I’ve seen throughout my career how much we can learn from women who are willing to share what worked, what didn’t and what they wish they had known sooner. That idea is also at the heart of Unspoken Lives. There is so much we can learn from one another when we’re willing to share our experiences and listen to someone else’s.
