My Role
I’m a Lead Engineer designing and guiding distributed systems that power large-scale, customer-facing products. I partner across architecture, product, and engineering to make decisions that balance technical constraints, business priorities, and guiding principles. I set technical direction, mentor engineers, and foster a culture where teams can learn, adapt, and build resilient systems.
What I love most about my role
I love being able to operate where technology, people, and purpose meet. Solving complex architectural problems is deeply rewarding, but what matters most is helping teams make thoughtful decisions with clarity and confidence. Creating an environment where engineers feel safe to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and learn from mistakes allows both the systems and the people behind them to grow stronger.
How I define success
I define success as building systems and teams that thrive, software that scales reliably, and teams that collaborate naturally with trust and confidence. Teams are empowered to drive the roadmap, take ownership, and improve continuously. Work feels engaging and forward-looking, collaboration happens naturally, and teams own both their wins and lessons as part of the journey.
The best piece of business advice I ever received was
Architecture is always a trade-off under constraints. Prioritize guiding principles over immediate results."
This advice has shaped how I lead and make decisions. When choices are guided by clear principles, teams can navigate ambiguity without losing alignment, even when the immediate path isn’t obvious. It shifts the focus from short-term wins to building sustainable, resilient systems, whether in business strategy, engineering decisions, or team culture.
What would I tell my younger self
You don’t need to have all the answers to lead. Ask thoughtful questions, create space for others, and focus on learning instead of perfection. Mistakes aren’t failures when they’re treated as opportunities to improve systems and grow teams.
What 2B Bolder mean to me
To me, 2B Bolder represents creating space for women to lead with authenticity and clarity, not just authority. Platforms like this help amplify stories about building inclusive, principled cultures alongside strong technical foundations, and encourage more women to step into leadership roles where both their impact and values can scale.
