My Role
As a Lead Data & AI Platform Architect, I design and deliver enterprise AI and data solutions that help organizations make better use of their information. My work sits at the intersection of technology and business, so I am not only thinking about how to build a solution but also why it matters and how it will create value for the people using it.
A large part of my role involves working with cross functional teams to design scalable data platforms, modern AI architectures, and generative AI solutions that can move beyond experimentation into real business use. I enjoy translating complex technical concepts into practical strategies that stakeholders can understand and trust. Every project is different, which means I am constantly learning, adapting, and finding new ways to solve challenging problems while keeping long term sustainability in mind.
What I love most about my role
What I enjoy most is that no two problems are ever exactly the same. Every organization has its own goals, constraints, and challenges, so every solution requires a different way of thinking. I genuinely enjoy the process of taking a complex business problem, breaking it down, and designing an AI solution that is both technically sound and practical to implement.
Beyond the technology itself, I really value the collaborative side of my work. Some of the best ideas come from conversations between people with different perspectives, whether that's engineers, business leaders, analysts, or product teams. I enjoy helping bridge those conversations and creating solutions that everyone can stand behind.
It's also incredibly rewarding to see something that starts as a concept eventually become part of someone's everyday work. Knowing that a system you have helped design is making people's jobs easier or helping an organization make better decisions is what keeps me motivated.
How I define success
For me, success has never been about delivering the most sophisticated technology or using the latest AI model. Success is creating solutions that continue to provide value long after the project is complete.
I think successful technology should make people's work simpler, not more complicated. If a solution is reliable, scalable, trusted by its users, and genuinely helps an organization make better decisions, then it has achieved its purpose.
I also believe success is measured by the people around you. If I have helped a team become more confident, encouraged someone to grow in their career, or created an environment where people feel comfortable sharing ideas and learning from each other, that's just as meaningful as any technical accomplishment.
The best piece of business advice I ever received was
One piece of advice that has stayed with me throughout my career is: Always solve the business problem before choosing the technology.
It is easy to get excited about new AI tools because innovation happens so quickly, but I have learned that technology alone doesn't create impact. The best solutions come from understanding the people, the process, and the business need first. Once those are clear, the right technology usually becomes obvious.
That mindset has influenced the way I approach every project. Instead of asking, "How can we use AI here?" I try to ask, "What problem are we trying to solve, and is AI actually the right answer?" I think that perspective leads to better decisions, stronger partnerships, and solutions that stand the test of time.
What would I tell my younger self
I would tell my younger self not to underestimate the value of curiosity. You do not need to know everything before taking on a new challenge. Some of the biggest opportunities in my career came from being willing to learn something unfamiliar rather than waiting until I felt completely prepared.
I would also remind myself that progress is rarely linear. There will always be moments where things feel uncertain or more difficult than expected, but those experiences often become the ones that teach you the most.
Most importantly, I would tell myself to trust the process, keep learning, and never compare my journey to someone else's. Every experience, every project, and every challenge has contributed to the professional I am today.

To me, being bolder means choosing growth even when it feels uncomfortable. It means saying yes to opportunities that challenge you, continuing to learn in an industry that changes every day, and believing that you do not have to have all the answers before taking the next step.
As a woman working in AI and technology, I also think being bolder means contributing with confidence and helping create space for more diverse voices in technical leadership. The future of AI will be shaped by the people building it, and it is important that those perspectives reflect a wide range of experiences.
I hope that by sharing my own journey, I can encourage other women to pursue careers in technology, stay curious, and recognize that leadership isn't about having the loudest voice in the room. It is about creating meaningful impact, supporting others, and continuing to grow throughout your career.
