What I love most about my role

I love working in franchising because I get to help aspiring entrepreneurs fulfill their dream of business ownership. It’s incredible rewarding & fulfilling when I help someone find a franchise that’s the right fit for them. Sometimes I’m able to match someone with a franchise that’s a passion play for them and other times it’s a match because the franchise will help them achieve more financial independence which often leads to more flexibility and a better work life balance than most corporate jobs.

How I define success

To me success is defined by the positive impact we have on others. While individual accomplishments are great I’ve always been a big believer that team work makes the dream work and that live by that motto both in my career and with my family. I’ve loved being a part of a high performing team where we get to celebrate our cumulative achievements. I also love that every day I get to help people explore franchises and I pride myself on being an educator as business ownership is not for everyone. Some of my successes have been in helping people choose not to move forward with a franchise either because the concept wasn’t right for them or because business ownership wasn’t right for them.

The best piece of business advice I ever received was

The best piece of advice I’ve received is “it’s all about the relationships”. In franchising no matter your role building and maintaining strong relationships will help drive your success in the industry. It’s important to connect and have strong relationships with your coworkers, clients, peers, vendors, and even competitors. Franchising is a unique but tight knit industry and the right relationships can propel you forward.

What would I tell my younger self

I would tell my younger self to dream big. So often we as women put limits on our dreams but I now know and believe so strongly the bigger we dream the more we will achieve.

What 2B Bolder mean to me

To me being bold means stepping outside of your comfort zone. If we stay stuck in the same routine whether it with our thoughts or our actions we’ll continue to get the same outcomes. If we want to live a life we could only dream of then we need to be bold and not just dream bigger but take the new & bold actions to achieve our dreams.
