Her upcoming book, SugarFreed (2025), follows her acclaimed devotional, Seeking Joy (2021), which received the Christian Market Book Award and Christian Indie Award.
Christine and her husband Rob have been married for over three decades and enjoy life in Metro Detroit, where she leads worship, hikes the outdoors, and loves time with her family and pets. With her passion for exhortation, faith, and generosity, Christine’s mission is to equip women to overcome years of weight struggles, embrace freedom from sugar addiction, and ultimately live with joy and purpose.
What I love most about my role
Writing and speaking words that inspire transformation is priceless! Coaching a client to a
weight loss victory, hearing from a reader, or chatting with an
audience member reminds me of the power of connection. I’m blessed
to share my story so it can become someone else’s victory story, too.
How I define success
This has changed drastically since I left my corporate career and began serving others through my
entrepreneurial journey. Success once meant climbing the corporate
ladder, but now, it’s about impact. My new measure of success is
showing up daily to help women break free and thrive in their health
and wellness journey–even if it’s just one woman a day.
The best piece of business advice I ever received was
After leaving a secure salary for entrepreneurship, knowing where to
invest my time and resources was tough. A wise marketing coach told
me to “Invest the talents” ––time, money, and faith. That leap of faith
led to The SugarFreed™ Me Weight Loss Solution––a six-month
program that took twelve months (and a business loan!) to bring to
life.
What would I tell my younger self
So much! Quit sugar sooner. Set boundaries earlier. Stop people-pleasing! You don’t need
to have life figured out. Clinging to control is exhausting––let go of
what weighs you down. Spiritually, expect the unexpected. You were
created for a purpose, so stop sitting on the sidelines. Take ownership
of your life and live it fully––with freedom and greater joy!
What 2B Bolder mean to me
I use the acronym “BOLD” to describe my values and virtues in business and life.
B: Believe in your higher-calling purpose and how you were
created––grit, resilience, and tenacity. Not everyone will get it, and
that’s okay.
O: Observe the needs around you. Now that I feel better, I serve
better.
L: Lead well and stay worthy of the calling––continuously pursuing
health, wellness, and leadership growth.
D: Diligent discipline is essential for bold leaders who get results.
Years of Experience
15+
I recommend you focus on developing these 3 skills to succeed in a role like mine
Problem-solving, leadership, and exhortation. I’ve always loved tackling challenges––
whether logic puzzles in school or leading my friends (like planning a
month-long Europe tour after college!) Today, I help women do hard
things. Exhortation isn’t just encouragement; it calls people to
address challenging circumstances and act. Breaking free from sugar
and obesity took hard truth and kindness, and now I am honored to
pass that gift on
