Let’s get something straight:
AI isn’t your biggest career threat.
Being invisible is.
While everyone’s panicking about whether a robot will take their job, the truth is more subtle—and more personal. What’s becoming clear is this:
The professionals who will thrive in an AI-powered world are the ones who know how to stand out before they ever hit “apply.”
Obscurity Is the Real Career Risk in 2025
Let’s look at the landscape:
Recruiters use AI-powered applicant tracking systems to filter résumés
LinkedIn’s feed is algorithm-driven, surfacing voices that engage, educate, or entertain
Tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity are accelerating output for people who already know how to market themselves
So where does that leave high-achieving professionals who still believe doing good work is enough?
Behind. Quietly.
The New Reality: AI Levels the Playing Field, But Only for Those Who Show Up
In 2024, OpenAI’s Sam Altman said:
“The most valuable skill now is knowing how to amplify your ideas with AI. Not just have them.”
Translation?
It’s not about being the smartest person in the room. It’s about being the most visible, credible, and searchable.
And most women I coach aren’t taught to think that way.
Let’s Look at the Numbers
83% of job seekers are ghosted after applying online [Greenhouse Recruiting]
Less than 2% of applicants get interviews through online portals [Jobscan]
But 6 people are hired every minute through LinkedIn [LinkedIn Economic Graph]
And posts with a personal brand POV outperform generic content by 3–5x [Shield Analytics]
So if you’re not getting noticed, it’s probably not a talent problem.
It’s a visibility problem.
What the AI Era Is Really Demanding From Us
This isn’t about becoming a “content creator.”
It’s about learning how to:
Package your unique point of view
Share your expertise publicly
Position yourself before you’re in need
The people who stand out will be those who consistently show up on platforms like LinkedIn, not with fluff, but with value, credibility, and perspective.
How I Use AI to Elevate Personal Brands (Without Losing the Human Touch)
Here’s how I coach women to blend authentic presence with AI-powered efficiency:
1. Use AI to Brainstorm Content Ideas Based on Your Niche
Prompt tools like ChatGPT with:
“What are 10 contrarian opinions someone in [insert your role] might have about [insert your industry]?”
This surfaces bold angles that spark engagement, and separate you from the pack.
2. Leverage Voice-to-Post Workflows
Many clients get stuck writing. I tell them:
“Talk your brilliance out loud.” Then use tools like Otter.ai or Whisper to transcribe, and ChatGPT to edit for tone.
This builds confidence and saves time, especially for non-writers.
3. Create an AI-Optimized LinkedIn Profile
Feed your resume and background into a tool like Resume Worded or Teal HQ’s AI summary builder. Then refine it using your actual voice.
Most people don’t realize their profile is written for recruiters, not their next opportunity. AI helps you speed up the draft. You bring the depth.
4. Use AI to Analyze What’s Working
I use Shield Analytics and Taplio to identify what type of content performs best in my niche, and tweak accordingly. AI doesn’t just help you create content, it helps you create strategic content.
Why This Matters Most for Women
Women are already underrepresented in tech and leadership.
We’re also less likely to self-promote, and more likely to feel imposter syndrome.
But here’s the shift I’m seeing inside 2B Bolder: When women learn to use AI as a brand amplifier, not a replacement, they start showing up bolder, faster, and more consistently.
They go from:
“I don’t know what to say.”
to
“I’ve got 10 great ideas. Which one should I post first?”
Don’t Get Left Behind by Silence
If you’ve ever worried that AI might make you irrelevant, I’ll leave you with this:
AI can’t replace your lived experience. Your voice. Your POV.
But it can make you irrelevant…
If you let your brilliance stay hidden in documents, inboxes, and private meetings.
The future of work belongs to those who aren’t just competent
They’re known for what they do.
Visibility is no longer optional. It’s your new career insurance.
