I Outsource My Most Annoying Task to an AI Intern (And You Should Too)

Let’s play a game. It’s called “I need to post on LinkedIn today.”
Round 1: You open a new tab. You stare at the blinking cursor. The cursor stares back. It knows your deepest fears.
Round 2: You type a sentence. It sounds like a robot wrote it. You delete it.
Round 3: You scroll through your feed for “inspiration,” which quickly turns into 30 minutes of watching someone’s work anniversary video.
Round 4: You give up, close the tab, and promise you’ll “do it tomorrow.”
This cycle is exhausting. We know that creating content and sharing our expertise is crucial for professional visibility. But between our actual jobs, meetings, and trying to have a life, who has the time or creative energy to be a part-time thought leader?
For years, this was my biggest professional headache. Then, I hired an intern.
My intern works 24/7, never needs a coffee break, and can brainstorm 50 ideas in 30 seconds. My intern, of course, is AI.

Now, before you picture robots taking over the world, think of AI less as a scary overlord and more as a brilliant, slightly-too-eager assistant. It has completely changed the game for me, and it can for you, too. It’s the ultimate cure for the dreaded blank page.
The problem is, most people use it wrong. They ask generic things like, “Write a post about leadership.” The result is almost always a bland, soulless word salad. That’s because AI is a tool, not a mind reader. The quality of the output depends entirely on the quality of the input.
The secret isn’t just using AI; it’s prompting AI effectively.
Let’s be real. You’re already busy being brilliant. You don’t have time for writer’s block. If you agree, you’re my kind of person.
Work Smarter with AI. Create Bolder.
When you learn how to prompt AI correctly, it becomes a superpower. It stops being a content writer and starts being your:
Brainstorming Partner: “Act as a marketing director for a tech firm. Give me 10 common frustrations our customers face that I can address in a LinkedIn post.”
Angle Finder: “Here’s an article I found interesting. Suggest 5 unique, contrarian angles I could take on this topic.”
Jargon Translator: “Rewrite this paragraph but take out all the corporate-speak and make it sound like a human being wrote it.”
Suddenly, that painful, hour-long process of creating one post turns into a fun, 15-minute collaboration. You’re no longer starting from zero. You’re starting from a wealth of ideas that you can then shape with your own unique expertise and voice.
You just need to know what to ask.
This is why I created my “AI Prompt Guide for the Ambitious Professional.” I’ve packed it with the exact copy-and-paste prompts I use to brainstorm ideas, draft content, and refine my message on LinkedIn so you can do it all in a fraction of the time. If you’re ready to finally beat the blank page and start creating content with ease, download your free guide here.
